Week three of bloom cycle , Looks like a lot of bud sites , maybe I should have removed a lot of smaller bud sites on the bottom to help the bigger buds on the top , would it be too late in the bloom cycle to remove the lower smaller growth on my really leafy plants😏😏✋

hey raptor, take a razorblade and carefully remove the bottom two (or three) flower nodes down the colas to get the results you want. Dont wait on this too long though. Remember to keep some duct tape or electric tape around in case you damage the branch where you're cutting : a cut too big might lead to infections etc. so if that happens then tape up the wounds with the tape, making sure there's not light penetration. Great job catching this early ! hope this helps ! 🚀

I am experimenting with this technique myself and trying to figure out how to optimize my plants. Like most of the others have said, remove some of the bud sites to help promote growth to the tops. Removing the lower bud sites will give you better growth for the top buds, reduce stress on the plant late in flowering, and decrease the risk of mold due to increased airflow throughout the plant. Those smaller buds typically don't get enough light, so it stresses the plant out and those bud sites normally turn into edible/concentrate because they are small and airy, so no real reason to keep them. Good luck and happy growing! 💪

Its always good practice to do so before hand , but it wont hurt the plant any if your take your time and remove a few here and there until you reached your goal . doing it to many at once will cause a lot of stress to your girl and can do a variety of funny things like stunt the growth all the way to making it hermie . I always train my plants in such a way were everything is exposed to the light you can see my GG#4 diary as reference to that . A helpful when doing this during flower is to do a few of them maybe 3-4 then watch your plant for a few days , if she still looks happy and healthy then repeat until you reach your goal . So ultimately you can do this and it will make your canopy more even as well as making the buds at the top fatter because your plant can redirect the energy it was using on the little ones at the bottom . I hope this information is helpful to you on this grow ! -Happy Growing!

To my point of view buddy not at all... .defoliating shoud be done before this stage…! And and to give you part of an answer….It is never forbidden to harvest part of its production... and let the rest mature until the final Harvest ! hope this helps 👍 happy growing 😘
