As she's only entering pre flower. I'm afraid you've missed your window to get in a defol before PF.
After PF is over. (Youll know, as she'll stop putting on height, "the stretch", then you can go ahead and open her bud sites up to your light.
Going down up and each node. Remove all major fan leafs. Making sure to leave a set at the very top. And also any leafs at the bottom can stay as they not blocking out light
Feel free to DM me when you get to that point. And I'll assist more then. But for now, it's best not to disturb the Pre flower process

I would do inside leaves to open up inside more, and lst branches outwards. Will give best result. Good luck

Defoliate or not ?Do I need to defoliate her harder ? I Think some of the buds are blocking the sun out of others, I am afraid the buds won't be fat. Everyday defoliation. Is this correct?i'm making a scrog with 4 royal gorilla q they were topped twice. Usually I take 3 to 4 fan leaves from each plant a day, cut with scissors to prevent them from shading budsites. I do this every day. Trim side shoots @ week 3 flower?I plan to do a final defoliation at the start of week 3 flowering. Lots of side shoots growing from the branches, should I snip those off during this final defoliation or will they produce decent buds? 4-way LST, 2 1/2’ diameter canopy
