bad Coco very high runoff PH

Folks I've got a bad block of coco this time around, triple flushed and triple buffered it, planted my seedlings, and my runoff PH reads at 8.5 !! PH going in is 6 and runoff is locked on 8 - 8.5 no matter how many times I flush, what do i do

Hey mate,
Yeah bluelab is arguably the best ph pen on the market. Water cant be contaminated as its RO. Your feed is at a good ppm. That only leaves a possible issue with the coco.
How much water have you flushed with? You should flush with 3x the pot volume (e.g 10L pot needs 30L of water)
If you have flushed that way I'd be changing the coco.

I'm using blue lab's and it's accurate. I use RO water and ph perfect AN line. didn't ever have this issue before....... I think the coco is heavily contaminated.......

Hey mate, Have you tried another PH pen? What type of water are you using? Tap water often has buffers in it so that could be your issue

Can a 1000w LED grow light be closer than 60cm (24") to a seedling?Different sources are saying: 1000w LED light should not be closer to a seedling than 60-75cm (24"-30"). The seedling should be getting 5000-7000 lux, 100-300 PAR (PPFD 18h) and 12-20 DLI.
Question: Can I put the light closer at ~40cm, dimmed to match the needed lux, par and dli
