That looks like a Peltier style dehumidifier. In my experience they do not do well. If sized properly they can get the humidity down to about 60% relative humidity but really lack the power of a compressor style machine to get to the desired 50% during flower. Still, something is better than nothing so give yours a try and see if it does what you want.

Well water PPM/EC looks REALLY high. What to do?I just did a quick test of our well water with a new cheap little meter and found that with our softening system on I hit 267PPM and an EC of 568(!). I having issues with PH, my TAP water is 7.2, when i mix it to a same volume portion of my soil, it becomes 6.6, can I deduce from this data that my soil is appropriate for growing? Around 6, as the water become acidic?? I really dont know how pH really works.Week 1
