Do DIY co2 systems work

Does anyone else think that yeast sugar and water makes a good co2 system. I put 2 in my 5x5 tent with 3 plants. Used a 5 gallon bucket with 1.5 gallons of water, 6 cups sugar, 2 packets instant yeast(should last 2 weeks b4 replacing ingredients)

Good idea, atleast worth a crack would be nice to measure somehow to see if it changes anything.

I don't personally do this - or anything else to produce co2, honestly - but I've seen comments from a lot of folks who do and they say it works pretty well... I think m0use has practical experience here... I'll make sure to ask her to look at this question and give you her thoughts....

Help understanding PHI have big problems understanding my PH levels. I put in @5.5-5.8 PH (lowered with acetic acid) and the run-off is always too high, about 7-7.5 PH. Is this an RO system?I found this is my basement of our new house and I'm wondering if this is an RO filtration system and if its worth trying to reconnect it as it appears to be bypassed. So looking at my next set up to be LED, few options out there so wanted to see what ppl can suggest, needs to have built in fans to help with heat from the light, can go up to 1000W but not necessarily needed, 5ft x 5ft grow tent
