I like a massive breeze for my plants.....in the veg stage it helps strengthen the stems/branches and in flower it helps with mold. You want as much air circulating as possible.

Hi there, you need to adress the humidity, air flow, and also give your tent a good clean with a bleach solution to get rid of any latent spore, be very thorough. Hope this helps.

Hello. I would like you to google silica for your plants. If you use it from the start it will stop powdery mildew from getting a hold and growing. Anytime the humidity is over 65% that is fungus growing weather. Please keep in mind you might have to cut it down and start again if you can't stop it. Please google cinnamon for powder mildew. I have also used molecular changed water. Knocks it right out. Ask at your grow store for it. I found if I caught the runoff and put it back in the sprayer you can use it again and again till it runs out. Much cheaper that way. Chuck.

Organoman thanks buddy, the humidifier is off. I heat my house in the winter with wood I need 2 of them to maintain 50% humidity on some cold days. But him growing in the basement & the humidity is usually around 55% but last few days xtreme humidity & heat its up to 60%. Maybe I should be thinking of a dehumidifier?

I don't see any fans in your grow tent. You want air circulation around your plants so they don't sit in stagnant air. I would recommend a small rotating fan below your plants and another above your plants mixing air. Don't have them directly blow on the plants as this will dry out the leaves to much and cause them to curl. Plants take in water from the roots and then sweat it off from the leaves. If there is no air circulation to evaporate the leaf sweat you can start getting mildew growing on them.

Remove your humidifier, your plant does not need it to be healthy, cannabis is not a rain forest plant. Powdery mildew is a humidity problem - too much humidity. In 35+ years of growing, I have never grown with a humidifier as I do not see the need. In fact, trichome production increases in an arid atmosphere. Hope this helps, Organoman.
