Pistils and trichomes.. help!

Continue growing the plant out until the trichomes on the *ripe pistils* are a colour you are satisfied with. As the gentleman below said, plants commonly toss new pistils late into flower. As for a specific trichome colour, that's personal preference. Liking a sedating body high for bedtime, I let my trichomes go closer to 50% amber.

Its very normal for fresh pistils to show up on the buds throughout its flowering cycle. The reason for that is once the plant has reached peak ripeness it will start forming nanners (pollen sacs) in hopes too pollinate itself to ensure survival. Just keep your eye on the trichomes and once you feel they are were you want them to be then harvest. Hope this helps.
