Led Stands VEG or FLOWERING or both?

Hi I bought a led light 1000W it has to buttons on it
> 1 for VEG and 1 for FLOWERING
Seems i can use both stands at the same time.
Here comes the question
Should I only use flower stand or both on? The manual which come with it doesn't tell me this.

I use both switched on, from day one until harvest.
This works just fine, I believe better than just using the veg light on its own.
Technically, you use the the veg light for veg (duh!) and then the veg AND bloom light during flowering.
The bloom light is a supplement to the veg light and the bloom light is not designed to be used on its own as the only source of light during flowering.

Is it ok like this?

I used to put 3 extra lights 20 cm below canopy, leave many large leaves at the top and lollypop 30%. 30% is definitely not enough even with those 20w LEDS (50% is probably better).
