When and if I should defoliate a little?

So i am going into week 5 here soon on my auto flower and its getting pretty bushy, i'm starting to see signs of sex with calyx producing pistils, can i defoliate to make sure she gets all the light she can or would that stunt her at this point??

Removing a few fan leaves to let light in won’t stunt growth all that much. It’s topping and some other high stress techniques that really delivers the pain to the plant. I mean don’t go crazy and remove all the fan leaves but look at your plant and strategically remove the leaves that hide bud sites from getting nice light. I also remove the jankiest looking leaves first when I defoliate. That’s if you have janky looking leaves. Hope that answers your question. Cheers!

Blue Dream Autos with Downturned Leaf Tips 23 days old. One started showing downturned leaf tips on new growth; others followed. Looks off-color, at least one is in early bloom. Amber and still many clear trichomes Approaching harvest time and im confused with still seeing a lot of clear trichomes.
