Can I remove a lot more fan leafs off to get more light at the bottom bud sites?

Yes but for example CP#3 doesn't need much defoliation. Week 3 of flower is ideal for a good defoliation. Only remove what seems to be necessary but not any more. It's best to remove a leave here and there than to over defoliate and create a significant change/stress to the plant. At this stage of flowering you will have significant growth still ahead so pluck away 👍

@NAG420 hi mate yes you can remove some of the larger fan leaves to allow light to penetrate further into the plants canopy. Also by doing this you will allow more air flow thruout the plants which is very important to eliminate potential hot spots that could lead to problems later on. Hope Ive helped Mate

Pruning to minimize aphids during flower, yes or no?I think I have aphids on one of my plants, and lots of vegetative growth so I’m thinking of doing a little pruning.Is this a good idea during flower? This is my first dutch bucket run and my reservoir pH is rising quite a bit daily. I pH down to 5.8 to 6.0 and within 24hrs it's back up to 6.6 6.7. Rinse and repeat. Is this normal or is something out of whack. I know pH will drift a little in a hydro system but this much?
