I'm not entirely sure but I have had this before. A musty smell to some buds, usually the larger ones. I think its the bud drying too quickly on the surface, keeping the inside damp longer. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Usually at THC plants I harvest at 30% amber and 70% milky.
