At what point of my breeding, do I get to name my seeds? At F1? I know a new strain is at F5. Help me figure this out. Thanks.

once you breed something, you can name it anything you want... thank "meiosis" for that (during anaphase? genetic recombination? can google that stuff). It may be related to the parents, but it is a different plant than what you had, empirically. "This" could be a strain... it's not part of real scientific taxonomy. strain had a definition before this, sort of. It hasn't changed. -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strain_(biology) --"The term has no official ranking status in botany" it's a pretty loose term... a generalized idea of genetic isolation... in something more complex than a microbe, you invariable get diversity even if some set of traits are fairly normal....
