Was wondering if I should hang the whole plant when I harvest or just cut colas off and hang them , the best way ?😏?? any thoughts on the best drying procedure

the point of air drying is to get a really slow dry because the plant "stays alive" for a quite a while afterwards anyway, the dry and cure is when most of the THC happens . So anything that makes the drying longer is a good, for example if you hang the plant whole the plant has more juices flowing for longer as they retreat into the stem this will make the drying that much longer. Other things you can do to get a good dry is to time your last watering and your chop based on your ambient humidity for example chop after a good watering if it's dry or chop dry if it's humid. Beyond that the most important thing is darkness and air circulation, you dont want mold getting in there. Hope this helps ! 🚀

It depends on your drying environment. If it's really dry than you can hang the whole thing if it's humid I'd separate and hand the branches. Aim for temps in the range of 67-70 and RH 55-60% in a dark room for a minimum of 5-7 days. When the stems snap then it's ready for a cure in a mason jar with two way humidity packs.
