I've noticed my plant is pretty low to the ground like a cabbage. I started the germinated seed a knuckle deep in the soil. Now its starting to grow big but not too much upward. My lights over 2 feet above, 230 watt LEC. Is there a method to grow it taller. It is indica dominant.

I see your are using calmag, Flora micro and Flora bloom. Although you may have a misunderstanding of the ratio you should be using. It appears you are using the 'Lucas Formula' however the ratio is inverted. The Flora micro:Flora Bloom ratio at full strength is 4:8/4L So that's 4ml Micro and 8ml bloom per 4 l. If your like to reduce initially in veg cycle you could go half that the first week or 2. Also now that the plant is bigger you can start to water often with nutrients everytime (you can do a flush before the flower phase if you'd like). Coco coir has a very good property of allowing plenty of oxygen even when the medium is heavily saturated. I run flood and drain buckets, and before I moved to perlite, I ran coco coir straight. I would completely drown my bucket for 15min with water then it would completely drain 6x a day...like I said, its hard to over water. But there is a catch though, coco coir tends to tie up calmag. I always used 1.5ml calmag/l of water. Hope this helps. I got 1.9 pounds on my last coco coir run I did and I ran that formula.

Indicas are typically shorter and bushy. Vs the sativas being tall and willowy. I think id not worry, time will bring her upwards naturally and in a healthy way, if you intentionally stretch her...you may also stretch your nodal spacing in a way you dont want. Give her good food and good light and a happy grow and everything will go as well i think. Happy growing.

Hello ! Yes there is a way to make her grow taller : Start to feed now with a 1.2 Ec level, you are in coco and coco is a neutral medium with no nutrients in it so it require a feeding at each watering at that stage your Ec should be 1.2/1.3, and don't forget to use enzymes . I think your Lec is working on the same principle as the basic HPS so the good distance between the plant is around 25/30 cm for the closer possible but 30/40 cm could be food without cooltube type reflector. I hope it will help you 😁👍
