Should I defoliate at this stage?

Dear growers, since it's my first growth, I'm unsure if I defoliate to make more "branches", but don't know exactly how and when to do it. Information on internet are very contradictory, and I cannot ask any friend. What do you think? The plant to me looks healty

I think you mean "topping", that is cutting the top of the plant, to allow more lateral growth (branching). They're ready to be topped, if you meant that by defoliating :) Looking forward to see more from your diaries!

And btw I think it is starting to flower already so better not to disturb it with too much shocking at this point

Hi there! I most definitely would not defoliate yet. If you decide to do it I suggest that you wait atleast two weeks more, when the plant is much bigger and bushier and the leaves are actually in the way of something. Be patient with her and she looks good by the way! 👌

Since autos have a finite timeline is it better to just let it grow as much as possible and get as big as possible or have the most bud sites when its starts to flower? I'm doing my first grow and started a Critical Thunder auto amongst my others. Not knowing anything about autos

3rd week of flowering, lower branches are snapping off easily. Too late for a harsh defoliation?Plants are in the middle of their 3rd week of flowering schedule, about 3' 8" tall from the stem, top two thirds are doing well, but the bottom branches are breaking off by just being brushed against when watering.
