I’m wondering if the leafs have to be yellowing before you harvest? Kinda confusing question. I have harvest this strain before and my leafs never turned yellow is it cause of the strain or did I harvest to soon?

You will see signs of yellowing when you've depleted nutrients and basically deprived your plants of nutrients. It's not necessary and occurs more often growing organically I find. If you look at many Master Growers on here you'll rarely this occurrence because it's not necessary. What really counts and is important is to make sure you have very little nutrients/minerals in your flowers to have a cleaner and safer product for consumption hence a proper flush.

hey there 240sx ! You're talking about senescence, that's when the plant gets those autumn colors. Whether or not this even really happens depends on the strain and the phenotype. If the plant does have that characteristic sometimes it's held back by a nutrition rich soil. The plant thinks it has enough food to keep going basically. That's why sometimes folks flush to get the colors to show, reducing the nutrients and going plain water for two weeks or so will maybe make the senescence happen. Really depends, and it's not really a "good sign" or a "bad sign" . Hope this helps ! 🚀
