Has anybody got any good ideas for a rain cover? Im thinkin some transparent plastic kinda thing. Maybe going over the plants with an angle so you have some runoff. it just has to be easy and affordable.. and the plants are pretty big too, im not expecting an easy task.

Hi @Magichuusom! Indeed, DIY is always the best way to go! This guy spent years working on DIY roof for his vegetables, you'll find hundreds of useful informations: https://sjefgardentips.wordpress.com/2011/07/15/7-roof-over-sweet-peppers-or-tomatoes/. Here's another source describing precisely the building materials & process: https://steemit.com/todo/@fmgearner25/todo-build-your-own-tomato-roof-over-your-tomatos. Hope this will help, happy growing 👊

If it’s just for rain run off I think your idea of making a roof structure with transparent plastic is probably best. You could build the frame out of wood or PVC. For early frosts i covered my plants in industrial sized plastic garbage bags overnight with stakes helping hold the bags from sticking on the buds too bad. That worked well for me. Good luck 👍
