They go to flower right away. look at SOG grows( not SCROG ). Most will be 12/12 from seed. This grows small plants since they veg for 2-3 weeks and then start to flower. But for outdoor grow with a 12/12 sun schedule growers will do one of 2 things if they want larger plants. 1. Grow indoors then bring them outside to flower 2. Add a supplemental light at the end of the day to keep the plant in veg then stop the supplemental light when they want to flower.

I would assume the hours are more 14hrs of light or more. People grow during march and september because the hpurs steadily increase during the day. Towards september light hours are reduced to 12 hrs in which flowering begins. Then 8 weeks flower. For instance amsterdam is currently having 12 hours. If this 12 hours changed to December itd cause flowers to be stunted as temperature fluctuations over 10c less hours so not much bud development.

Hey buddy, I think the cannabis plant itself is one that adapts to various regions around the world and different light schedules. That's why it naturally enters flowering. I also think that in very cold countries with few hours of light, the crops can still be good :) But it's a good question, brother. Cheers!
