Why did my sprout stop?

SmokinTees420

My sprout has stopped growing but still looks green and healthy. I did have to help remove the seed shell as it was stuck. It hasn’t had any growth in the last 4-5 days. The plant next to it is thriving. Why has my sprout stopped growing and should I start over

Looks like it has no growth tip - either genetic or did something drip on it? a plant can form a new growth tip. I've seen one form and start to grow a new plant (3+ nodes of vege growth) growth from a chopped autoflower stump. Is it worth waiting for and falling behind all the other plants in the room.. probably not. If you need 2 plants to fill the space, plant another seed. Always a good idea to plant more than you need for this exact reason. Plants come with a lot more defects than people realize. IF the cost isn't prohibitive, plant 2x the need.

yo bro 👋 what m0use said 100%—sometimes they just stall or get wrecked when the shell stuck. i’d pop a fresh one too 💯 no stress, it happens 💪🌱

Hum it does look a bit special needs. No adult leaves forming. Might be best to pop a new seed if that ones does not start growing out properly. It could trun around and grow ok but not worth the maybe pop another and move on. If they both grow then plant it someplace outside and see what it does on its own. One other thing that might have happended is it got damaged when you took the seed cap off and maybe that pinched out the baby adult leaves?
