Oh and the plant behind looks to be suffering from heat/light stress(serrated edges curling up). You might want to raise your lights a bit.

That looks overly wet to me, But you should be fine. Just let it dry to at least 5cm below the surface before watering again. You only want enough to make a small circle around the base of the plant. Then you want to let it dry out. Roots need oxygen so if it never dries out then you can get rot and stunted growth. She is young and does not need much to drink.

Methods to avoid stunted seedlings Does anyone have any favored methods to avoid stunted seedlings? It hasn't happened to all of my seedlings, but at least three crops have had this issue. I already use Coast of Maine seed starter, usually in small solo cups, before switching to the main soil.

Seedlings died, does anyone know why??Hello does anyone know why my seedling died. It looks dried up and dead. I germinated in a paper towel until 1/2 of root came out then planted in 65%FFHF 20% perilite and 15%wormcastings. I misted the top once a day when it appeared dry. Had in 3gal pots w/ a LED450W 28in away :(
