#8 of the phenotype hunt has twin seedlings. Has anyone had experience on growing out in a larger than normal pot? I will be sure to get a cut of each one. Curios about variances in a single seed.

If you want to risk it you could try to separate them and put them in there own pot. But they will usually not live together. They will fight each other for light, root space and CO2. You will not end up with a good harvest. If you dont want to risk seperation then select the strongest one and chop the other.

They'll compete for nutrients. One will usually die leaving you with a sickly weak plant. I've had better success cutting one out and letting the other one thrive rather than just letting it do its thing.

I have had this happen a few times, they will compete with each other and neither will grow properly. All of the ones I kept to maturity turned out hermaphrodite, even when keeping just one of the sprouts - these days they are an automatic cull when they appear. I have pictures of twin seedlings in my diary "cannabis conundrums" if you are keen to see other examples. Cheers, Organoman.

Hi there. Had this happen once, neither sprout did very well after a few days they seemed be fighting. I kept the strongest looking one out the 2 and discarded the other.
