White Powder on Leaf

MrGrowthSpurt
MrGrowthSpurtstarted grow question 3 years ago
Here's a closer shot of the white powdery stuff, only on one leaf right now. I'm going to keep an eye on it and try not to worry for now. If I suspect it's mildew, mold, or Fungus I will take action. What does it look like it could be to you all?

looks like discoloration... not powder. not consistent enough to be a leaf tunneler... Looks like an ugly, early leaf.. probably grow out of it. you've got a hint of tip burn, but otherwise the leaves look healthy. Did some fertilized water drip on that leaf, maybe?

Thanks, it is possible that water could have got on them, however I use a wand and I only water the soil, I rarely water the leaves themselves. I appreciate you taking the time to give your knowledge and opinion. I'm going to wait it out and see what happens. Nothing rubs off when I use a wet napkin. Not sure but if it gets worse I can always just snip it off

it it does rub off, take some hydrogen peroxide 3%, dilute to anywhere near 1/8th concentration and gently wipe it off. i'd hit both top and bottom of leaf... once you have mildew, it it more about controlling it than getting rid of it... Check out "Cornell Formula" for a diy fungicide. Copper soaps, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate etc.. all can help slow it down or kill it, but you will likely be applying as long as it keeps popping back up.
