What are these bugs?

Just discovered these little black bugs. I don't think they're flying. They're mostly on the soil. Some were on the stalk but they don't seem to be on the leaves and buds. I'm growing indoors in organic soil. Not sure if these are a problem or if they'll regulate themselves.

Looks to be rove beetles. I'll post pics and info in the grow log.

Hi there Willy, so these little bugs are from the medium not fully drying out, when the medium is fully dry , the bugs' eggs will pop and the outbreak will naturally come under control. What you can do is give the plants a full day or even a day and a half more of drying time than usual. Another thing you can do is add nematodes like bacilus thuriengiensis which will basically kill off the eggs , larvae and even the adult bugs. Just add it to the feed as well as through a spray every 7 to 10 days even up to harvest, it's no problem. Hope this helps ! 🚀

They don't have pinchers and now I've seen they can fly. I found some up in the buds. Some sort of thrips maybe?

They are ear wigs they can eat plants so I would get rid of them if you can they are attracted by damp humid spaces so make sure you are letting your plants fully dry out before watering and they should die out :) Best of luck

I started using a new compost about 2 weeks ago and suspect their eggs came in with it.
