Can a seed grow without a helmet?Do I have a chance? My seed got rid of the helmet without starting to grow a root, I can’t show it so as not to disturb her, suddenly she has a chance. Mulch layer on SeedsDoes anyone use rice hulls as a mulch? I’m trying to follow the build a soil way & he uses a mulch layer even on his seeds. I’m too scared to try that since I’m new unless any of you have had success while doing this. Any pointers will help me out a lot.

How long to wait before giving up on germination?Still waiting for germination. A part of me worries that I buried the seeds a bit too deep (ended up probably closer to 3/4"-1" deep). Blätter gucken aus Samen ohne Stamm?I bought 3 Purple Punch seeds. One of them didn't manage to grow roots out of the seed after 9 days. But this one has already developed the two round leaves without a stem. Is it due to the quality of the seed, or did I overlook something?

Cotyledon leaf falling off an autoflower while seed husk is falling offHas anyone ever had a cotyledon leaf fall off of an autoflower as the seed husk was coming off? One of mine did from my sweet mango auto. The 2 first "true" leaves are present and seem to be growing. Just wondering if it will be heavily stunted because of this. Converse away :)5y ago

3/6 seeds not coming above groundAfter two weeks of having seen sprouts coming out of all 6 seeds between paper towels, I've only seen 3 come above ground. Should I wait just a bit longer, or carefully clear away the direct and check what's going on? Maybe they're growing upside down (had it once before)?
