Would there be any significant benefit in adding in a 100w LED board on purple or blurple?

No.
Just a waste of electricity.
Your 400 watt HPS will be far superior and also be completely adequate.

Are these LED specs good enough to start my first ever small scale grow? HELP!Hi, are these LED specs enough to start a small grow (maybe 2 plants): Full Spectrum 200W with peak Intensity RED 630-660nm & BLUE 440-460nm
PPFD:
630.25 umol/s/m2 at 30cm
175.12 umol/s/m2 at 60cm
80.04 umol/s/m2 at 90cm
This is for a 3x3' tent

is it okay to place it near the led lights? as many says that it could burn your seedling down.recently im buying the 1000w full spectrum oem led from China. and i know it just “labeled” 1000w. im testing it on my plant, placing it near and seems like it doesn’t burn my babies.Week 1

Light scheduleMy current light schedule is 18/6. Did I start LST too early?At day 22, did I start LST too early? I feel that I may have stunted the growth a little from overheating, but didn't want to wait too long to start training. Also, would a higher-powered light cause less distance between the nodes, and therefore make LST harder/less effective?4y ago
