Hi all, I am growing 4 plants in a 3x3 tent with 3 small fans, a 4inch ac infinity inline fan, and a mini vivosun dehumidifier. The humidity stays at 65%. Should I buy a 6 or 8-inch inline fan or a better humidifier to get it below 50? If so, any suggestion of the two equipment?

It's the room that the tents in that needs control of your temps and humidity. 65% aint that bad. You could always get a dehumidifier for the room the tents in.

I always keep below a 70 percent humidity or try to. Above 70 your mold chances increase greatly. Having good moving air will also keep mold away. So you are running at a ideal humidity, temperature wise 80 to 83 degrees F is about max unless your supplementing co2. Can then push limits more. Good luck and happy growing 🌱

Adding more dehumidification to the tent will drastically increase temperatures, so make sure it's a portable or one that can demudifiy and send the warm hot air elsewhere, if left to dehumify and expell warm air In tent, it will destroy the environment of the grow tent. If you add serious dehumidification you need serious air cooling. 8000 btu unit on blk friday out of season should be good sales for under 100.

Your daytime ambient at 84 is a problem, the top of the canopy when lights on, anything above 86 can adversely effect growth. Where exactly are you growing in the house? Do you have access to fresh air? You need to set up that inline to a outake fan, have fan suck hot humid air from the top of tent, 1 min on 3 off or as needed. A small intake fan blowing air in at lowest point, tiny humidifiers are almost useless , especially so when you hit flowering, if you have problems now you will most likely get disease come flowering. Get a 8000 btu ac unit cut a hole in side of tent and have the front end inside tent with the back end sticking out Inside the grow room, have a tube running collecting water from the ac unit, this will simultaneously dehumidifier as it slams cool temp into the tent the difference in temperature will cause condensation to form outside the tent, allow to drip into a 5 gallon bottle if you have no drain access that should be enough for 2-3 days. The ac unit will dehumidifier the room the tent is in as well as cool the tent.
