My last grow had 5 plants going & overwatered once & believe had some runoff that the plants sat in. I suspect this damaged them pretty significantly. One of the plants came out amazing, nice dense strong nugs. The other 4 plants have airy nugs not dense at all. What caused this?

Hi there Jlive, i'm quite sure this has to do with airflow and temperature. Different genetics are sensitive to that stuff in different ways. What's interesting is you can get different climates even inside the same tent. Make sure you have proper airflow also inside the tent to make sure the conditions are even and stable. it's harder than you think : if you measure at different places in your tent you'll see you can have quite a lot of variation. What you need to measure is the difference between the ambient temperature and the leaf surface temperature. you're looking for numbers like -2 or -3.... what you probably had last time was something like 0 or -4... something like that ... It's not a common question to ask. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Ok so many variables here. To make it short and sweet. It could be genetic not all plants produce dense buds. You could of had too many grow points on those other plants 👈 very common. They might not of had enough potassium, and phosphorus in flowering. Leaving plants in run off is bad. Stops air from getting in bottom if in a plastic potter. Lighting not intense enough can also have a impact similar. Temperature, and humidity can also play roles in development. So lots of variables. Good luck hopefully this provided some insight. Happy growing 🌱

I guess there isn't a log for that grow. A few questions to try to narrow it down: What kind of light were you running? What distance was the light from the tops? What seeds/genetics did you run? What growing medium? What/how were you feeding them during flower? How big were they before and after flower? Did you see any discolouration on the leaves or stems during flower? And what did your temperatures look like during flower?

Could be one of many things. Genetics could play a factor. Were all plants the same strain? Even within a strain the different phenotypes react differently to feeding and stressors. I had 5 banana bomb seeds, got 3 phenotypes, one couldn't get enough nutrients and light, one was being burnt to a crisp from the same combo. One was a sativa, which was weird. But loved the heavy feeding and lights. Could be environmental issue (temperature, humidity, lights) Too hot can cause airy buds, too little light, light too close, lack of air flow? Could be a nutrient/feeding/water issue Over watering, root rot, ph lockout, lack of pk. Im gonna take a look at your grow log and see if anything sticks out.

Hello i can be due to the genetic. In one strain you can have many phenotypes or it can be due to your feeding shedule also. Issues during flowering can do this. A lack of potassium also. There is differents factors for this. But finally you have smokable buds and it is what we want. Bye
