Photoperiod plants, hands down. After this it all comes down to grower skill and environmental conditions. Generally hybrid plants with 70-90% Indica and 10-30% Sativa genes seem to yield heaviest in my experience. Then again, some 50/50 hybrids have done exceptionally well, as have 100% Indicas.

Almost every seed company lists an estimated yield for each strain and many even have a "high yielding" category. What is best depends how you will grow and what variety you want.
