I'm growing a hybrid that's 80% indicia. Currently at about 7weeks since germination. She's at about 17 inches (43cm) but has had a rough start so is probably stunted. When do I flip to flowering lighting?

You can grow on a 12/12 "flowering" lighting cycle from seed! Look up "12/12 from seed". A cannabis plant cannot enter flowering until it has matured, which usually takes 3 or 4 weeks after it sprouts. After that, you can flower whenever you want! In fact, auto-flowering strains usually begin flowering automatically around 4 weeks regardless of the light cycle. Just remember that a cannabis plant may stretch out to 2x its current height, so make sure you do it with a plan. Don't end up with a 10 foot tall flowering plant in a house with 8 foot tall ceilings LOL It's also extremely important that during those 12 hours of darkness, the plant remain in darkness. Any interruptions can bring it out of flowering.

You can flip her when ever you want. It really depends on your space and what yields you want to achieve. Be aware that in flower it is possible the plant doubles or almost triples in size. So it is all up to you. Good luck. Hopefully i could help. Cheers

This will be a matter of preference . Some people have really short cycles some longer . If you have the space and aren't concerned about time then long veg cycles would be more ideal the plant will have a chance to get big and tall if your strapped for space and time you might have a short veg cycle. In my experience I like to let them go until they are showing maturity ( calyx with hairs ) then I prep them for flower and switch the lights . This will be a widely argued topic though like I said it comes down to preference . The longer the veg the bigger the plant, the bigger the plant the more potential for a higher yield. I hope this info helps you on your quest to becoming a Grow Master !! Happy Growing!

She good she might get 3x her height so the flip is when you want or by the space have . Some would top or super crop her depending on what you going for but yeah as soon as you flip her 12h on and 12 off light cycle the flowering begin depending on the plant can start showing buding In two or three weeks

Howdy! Your gal looks great for being 'stunted'! As everyone hasentioned, flipping lights is totally your call! If you LST some of those colas and main cola, and veg another week, you'll get very thick colas after you flip, or you can flip now and have a gorgeous lil Christmas tree! Either way it's gonna be a beautiful harvest! Happy growin' y'all! ✌️🌱🌲😎💨

Hey p76. Your plant looks great so if you are looking for a fast harvest you can switch to flower now. I would really do some lst on her and give her a couple more weeks on veg. You can almost double your yield with a couple more weeks and a little training. Best of luck whatever you decide to do!

When to swithc to flower is always a question of your conditions and whishes... did you complete your trianing on her, is the structure like you want to=? , then how big is your growspace, do you have a big room or a 60 cm tent...... etc.. every grower dos it in another way because of different whishes and conditions, she will strech from 30-50 percent in flower ( strain realted) . So look at your lady and your growroom and pick the point of turning to 12/ 12 tha6t fits to you

Hi the whole flipping over to flower deal is mostly done when you have a healthy girl which you do and the final height you want to achieve .these girls can sometimes stretch over 100%and up if given the chance. given the right nutrients and growing environment she could double size..so 7week veg is good and she looks healthy so whenever you want you could do that switch and she gonna stretch even at 80%indica there will be a stretch...cheers hope this helps
