Don't give up, you got this. If its alive keep on going. I share the same feelings with @GrowCN, on the paper towel method, the baby root can easily be damaged if its left in it to long. and if you plant them after the roots an inch long there greater risk of transplant shock. Glass of water and scarification is good, then directly plant in the medium. I only soak for 12 hrs just in case, don't wan't it to drown. Beneficial microbes are a great addition to them as well. Helps ward of early disease. I have seeds that are 5+ years old. if you store them right they will pop. Best of Luck and Keep on growing

Thanks everybody for the encouragement and advice! I may let her go for a little bit longer to see what the first node looks like at least. If I replace her, it might be diff strain / breeder though. Let’s see what happens.

If you already have other plants growing and starting a new seed would cause scheduling problems then I would keep this and let it grow. It might not be huge but you should get some yield from it. If starting a new seed now doesn't cause problems then I'd get another seed going. I am not a fan of the paper towel method. It is good to allow you to see if the seed germinates. What I found is that most seeds germinate so why do I have to see it. And, the tap root is very easily damaged and it is very easy to kill a seed during transplant. I have better success by soaking seeds in water for 24 hours then planting them in their forever pot so there is no transplanting and never any transplant shock or damage.
