For example I look up Afghan Kush Ryder. The overview says "flowering takes 45-55 days" and then in the description part it says "Flowering - 70 days". I assume it means once you reach the flowering stage it will flower for 45-55 days and harvest in 70. Am I close? Thx!
@DaBeers hi mate the only real way to know when to harvest ya buds is by checking their maturity
with a jewellers loupe which is used to check on trichome development
the time frame suggested by breeders is pretty much just a gimmick because it all depends on the environment
the plant is grown in as well as many other factors
take their advice as a guide only and check ya buds as they grow
I would go strictly off breeder info.. GD is incorrect in a lot of the accumulated information on here.. for example - I grew a strain with ~35% cannabinoids as provided by the breeder, however grow diaries info on it says 35% THC.. so they incorrectly transferred that information.. if that makes sense.
That said, breeder info is often off a bit.. it looks like a short flower so I’d say you’ll be looking at around 50-55 days
Some take into account preflower, the stretch as flowering days. I start count from the time their actually flowering. They can take 2 to 3 weeks to start full flower, so add that onto your 45 to 55 days, that brings you to around the 70 day mark.
