you can determine the gender before flowering but this is not your case.those little sharp looking things do exist in every cannabis plant and have nothing to do with gender.gender showing organs will show up later.I dont what people call these things though.

Still a little to early to tell for sure but it’s looking like it’s a male! If they turn white and clear then it means it’s a female but if they continue to poke out green and represent a ace of spades then it’s male! I’m leaning towards male it will show very soon as it is starting!
