Can anyone tell me why these Notthern Lights are foxtailing so bad ? Was it transplanting, topping , lighting ? I will certainly do it different on the next go round

It could be a number of reasons but I think it could be bloom boosters late in flower can often cause slight foxtail in your buds, yours isn't too bad man 🤙🤙🌱

Some genetics just grow like that. But it can also be caused be lights being too close/too powerful or being too far.

Another reason foxtailing can happen is by using bloom boosters to long. Massive bloom formulation will cause this if you use it to long into flower. Usually if it is from light, you will see bleaching and canoeing, towards the top leaves, if their to warm from the light as well. All other answers are correct as well.

I have to agree with the below answers. I don't think its to to bad of a foxtail on your plants. One cola is bad I can see it, real thin, the other are descent. Where the seeds came from could also be a thing and their genetics. I don't see in the diary where they originated from just that its a custom breeder. Some strains are more prone to this type of behaviour so hard to tell. Given that it was also an auto, they are very picky when you transplant them. That could have been a major factor on how they performed. They also do not like to be fed as much as other plants. They can get shock from excess feed or hot soil. Next run, do not transplant autos. start them in their forever pot and lightly feed them. You can google auto feeding charts vs photos. its usually about 100-200 less in ppm if I remember correctly, and some times the strain will like even less got to watch the plant for signs. Best of Luck on your Next Grow!!

@DRWU_357 To be honest that does not look too badly foxtailed mate usually it is caused from stress from issues including heat , low humidity or intense light but with strains that have haze in them it is not that unusual to see a bit of fox tail happening at the end of the grow

Light leak at certain stage or still bothering, overexcess of nitrogen, too powerful lights, some phenotype or even strains created that way, too late harvest. That's what I had and understood personally. Think light power and nitrogen is your answer. All the Best !
