WHY - to remove any residual mineral salts from artificial fertilizers out of your plants cells. WHEN - approximately 7-10 days before your expected harvest day is adequate. HOW - by giving just plain water for those last 7-10 days. Flushing much longer than 7-10 days sees plant health decline rapidly in my experience, and in my opinion, an unhealthy plant can not support healthy cannabinoids. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

WHY: The idea behind flushing is to let your plants “use up” any extra nutrients contained in the plant and buds. This way there is a much lower level of nutrients left over after harvest, and it’s those extra nutrients that can change the smell, taste, or (most often) “smoothness” of your buds in a negative way. WHEN: Wait until the plant already looks like it’s at the early end of the harvest window, in other words, wait to start the flush until you could pretty much harvest the buds right now if you wanted.HOW: Provide only plain pH’ed water to plant until harvest (from a few days to 2 weeks)

Unless you use some Chemical Nutes/Ferts there is no point to flushing... Atleast from my expirience. Just use Water without any Nutes around a Week or two before Harvest and you should be fine. Unless someone shows me some Data on that ill ditch that technique. cheers
