Pro regular cultivators: How to select females?

For regular seed growers:
What do you recommend? Is it better to take cuttings and put them on 12x12 to determine the sex or just put the same plants on 12x12 and revert them back to veg?
I used to use the second method, but there are professionals here and I want their opinion.

straight to 12/12 would save time and electricity on males you dont want.
once the fems are identified they can be revegged easily enough .

Either method works though I would recommend doing cuttings. You lose a lot of time transitioning a plant to flower then revegging, plus reveg growth can get a little gnarly and unpredictable. If you do reveg be prepared for some aggressive pruning afterwards.

Does anyone use regular Led lights?I have my 2 tangies growing one in soil and one hydro. I decided to try LED, lights 14.5 watts (2), a large plant grow light 8 actual watts (1), and a true day 9 actual watt. Has anyone else had success with these lights?
