When to put the light on?

Hey there,
Do you need to put the light on the pots directly after you planted the seeds in the ground? Or do you need to wait untill they poke true the ground and then put the light on them?

Plant can't absorb light till leaves open. But I leave the lights on anyway because I don't mind paying my electricity bill.

-I bought my light from a friend of mine, it says 600Watt but actual wattage is 134W. (Only thing I know)

OK to switch from 12/12 to 18/6 for auto in flower?Is it OK to switch an auto from 12/12 to 18/6 when in flower (2 weeks)?
I moved the plants from the attic which was way too hot and tried the 12/12 schedule to reduce the heat. Now that they are in an AC spare room wondering if it would be worth switching. Appreciate the support!Setup. Lighting

Is 500 ppfd on new seedlings ok?My light dimmer only lowers to 500 ppfd. I’m starting autoflower seedlings in a space tote before I move them into my perpetual harvest tent. I’m currently propping the light on its side so that the indirect light only hits around 300-400, as an attempt to reduce light bleaching.

light dilemmaWhen shine only with flower light, i reach 20,000 lux units in the buds area. But when i turn both lights on at once, both the growth and bloom spectre, the lux units increase to 65,000. Leaves drooping after switching from MH to HPS light for flowering. Is this expected?Flowering started on auto, switched light from MH to HPS 4 days ago. Same power, same ballast, different bulb vendor:
- 150W MH from Superplant at 5000 K
- 150W HPS MASTER SON-T APIA Plus from Philips at 1950 K
Flowering continues but leaves started to droop, plant looks sad

This is my first grow, currently in veg wk 5, using 8 x 6500K, 4’ T5HO. Flipping to flower in 2-3 wks, will use 4 x 3000K tubes and planning to get 4 AgroMax Pure Bloom tubes. Is 50/50 mix of 3000K and Pure Bloom a good combination of light?

Will the marshydro ts600 be ideal for this yes just shy of 2x2.

Growing out instead of up.Please help out! I moved it into a new pot and topped it last week as suggested.
Also new ViparSpectra light at 45cm away @80% power.
Nutrients/food yet to arrive.
It seems to just be growing out instead of up, and starting to see some white/ burnt looking spots.
