So has anyone had plants survive a house fire? How did your plants do? Is there anything I should do to ensure they keep flowering. I feel they may have been shocked.

Luckily I had carbon disc filters in every hole. They were solid white from soot. But I removed them and washed the filters. There wasnt any soot in the tent at all. The tent was near the fire but was in a different room and the fire got put out before it got to their room. The fire started from electrical in another room. The house was built in 1920 so my tent plus the heaters probably caused the spark but the fire marshal said we could have had a night light and it would have still happened. It was just old wiring. It started in the wall near the attic area. We got lucky. I will add new pics to my diary today. I wanted to give them a few recovery days before I messed with them again.

Sorry mate to hear about the housefire , hope the electricity overload from light/air circulation was not of fault . If so , do take extra measures this time . Back to the ladies : They should be fine , the pinkish hue on tops of plants might be from the higher temps that was during the fire . If you keep the temps as it was you should be fine . If you want to just "wash " the plants , just use water and spray all the plants , above/under leaves (you could put some cal-mag in water just for extra care ) You said that plants took a 28h without light , don't worry , if they are in flowering , they will be fine . cheers

Going to need photos of the plant, The further away from the heat and fire it was the better off it will be. They will know somethings up with the contaminated air they breath in, but I doubt anything bad will happen if it was not directly on fire. Hope everything is ok. Good Luck

According to your diary, you saved them and moved to new safe place. The only point you should look out - stress caused Hermie, pay more attention on this point than in normal grow you would. All the Best !!!

Man I’d be really worried about toxins getting all over them.. a lot of bad shit gets put in the air during fires. I’d be tempted to start over fresh my friend.. I suppose you could wash the shit outta them or something.. Just something to consider, hope everything turns out alright that’s a tough one
