anyone ever use a hao fst 1800 cob grow light im using two in a 4x4 tent rn until i get a new upgraded one actual watts is somewhere between 240 to 300 from some reviews ive read

I have a friend that runs the cob lights. Different brand but same boards as those. His pull about 40 watts per board so it's about 240 watts per light. They do work well, but not the best for even coverage and there are more efficient options out there. When you do upgrade I would recommend something with samsung lm301 diodes run on a meanwell driver. They work great for me.

Yeah like wicked said.. they just aren’t the most efficient lights. I did a few good grows when I started out with a similar light tho. Still bust it out every once in a while for back up

Leafes curl upHey, these are my Autos at the beginning of day 6. The leaves are curling up a bit, is that normal/okay? Or is it light stress? The lamp is an AC Infinity Evo 4 300 watt, I had it running at 40% since day 1 and then reduced it to 30% after day 3. The distance is 45cm.

LED distance to plant adviceInterested in how close I can get my 630w LED with a rating of 2.7μmol/W and 1700 PPF to my canopy. I had it hung 48cm (19 inches) on 380w and just upped it to 500w day 8 in flower. Does this sound too close at 500w or is this ok? Temp is 25C (77F) humidity 55%.
