Is it safe to use citric acid to lower ph of tap water? Organic grow

I am looking into alternative methods to organically lower the ph of my tap water. Tap water where I live normally ranges from 7.6-7.8. I have read that using vinegar can be bad for the plants overall so Im wondering about trying citric acid? Curious to know. Thanks!

sure... white distilled vinegar works too.. often very cheap and already lying around. it will cause no problem. the common 5% variety will not take much to drop it. a "3 m:" pipette is useful to have around. once you ahve it measured out, you can rely on spot checking your tap water occasionally and trust your measurements.

Yeah them things work. But they don't hokd the PH stable. If you are applying quick solution Citric acid, white vin, lemon/lime juice works also. But biobizz has really potent ph- that will keep your PH stable. Good luck bro.
