Hello everyone, take a look at these buds and some seeds as they have some sort of pink dye/stain on them. Is this natural or can I suspect foul play?

Yeah man idk where you got that but its definitely not good. Could have mold or pesticides, (VERY SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEM IF SMOKED!!!). Regardless, it seeded and is going to be sub-par weed. This plant when it was grown was very stressed. Stressed to the point where it became a hermaphrodite. I'd stay far away and if you are growing this, get that plant out ASAP. Clean the walls of your grow room and equipment. Pollen from this plant could infect your next grow and completely hermaphrodite your whole grow even if its flawless. That would absolutely suck and it doesn't take much pollen at all for it to happen.

Suspect foul play. Consume at your own peril. Something is definitely not right.

If you grew this yourself, you would know roughly what it could be from a short list of options. Then make the call on what to do with it. If you got this from someone you know, you should be able to ask them for same result. If your asking us Im assuming U cant ask the person you got it from or they dont know. So now its an un known substance= rule 1 for un knowns is no stop dont. lols. Dont touch it as It could be anything from pesticide to herbicide (they often dye plants to be seen by the person applying them) But its not like pple spray anything good on em either is it? Or even go around spraying harmless things on them... Ive never heard of pink seeds b4 either so doubt its natural. Id avoid. U could plant the seeds to see what happens, but i wouldnt expect alot. Its just not worth the risk to consume it in any way.

I would not smoke that. I know that Silver Thiosulfate used for making Sex change on cannabis do stain thing on purple, and it's very toxic. I dunno if it would stain the plant, or the reason for having it in a female plant. but who knows the understand of the processes of who made that.
