They look good so far, but listen to your plants. At the middle of their day cycle (virtual high noon), they will lift their leaves when the light is above average, and droop when they need more light or are overwatered. If you have a patio with some sun, use it as a booster when you can. Best wishes in your garden.

Your want to find out the PPDF of your light. that is what truly determines if it is enough. with ppfd you can then calculate the DLI. or Daily Light Integral. There are some great clips on YouTube if you search PPFD and DLI that help explain this and get a better understanding. Your diary says your using HID lighting but CFL's are not HID or "High-intensity discharge". They are CFL "compact fluorescent lighting" may want to update that by hitting edit in top right of the diary. I have grown a few plants off of LED's in the 100W and 150W range from seed to harvest. They did well considering. If this is your first grow make do with what you got and upgrade down the line if its available. Lights are your biggest cost for indoor growing. I'm a big fan of LED's. A basic Ideal to aim for is one plant per 100W in LED's so CFLS would be aorund 150-200w per plant I'm guessing? Its a ruff estimate and a lot of other factors go into how light strengths are calculated. but its works for if you are trying to keep is stupid simple. If this was me I would want a 2nd bulb of that caliber in the tent if possible but if money is tight keep it as is. Best Of Luck!

I dont believe what the other person said about led 300w no way would it be enough for flowering inless it's a quality led but they expensive I use a 200w led maxibright daylight and that's only for veg especially cheap leds if they say 600w then they pull around 125w and there no good for flowering

Well your running 500 watts right? if that was a 300 watt LED it would be more than enough light if not too much. Now if it was a CMH or HPS around 500 watts id be able to say yes its enough. But the only experience ive had with Fluros from T8's, T5's HO T5's ect ect was for my aquariums. ok I did have around 20 or so at one point and thats alot of lights and timers to keep track of... but I never looked at my fluros and thought Id try to run my plants under them. But so far they look good, the biggest issue u may have is light temp (light spectrum). Whats good for veg may not be best for flower and vice versa so check the specs of your bulbs. Ur plants look pretty good so Id give it a shot and see how they go. But def look at a LED in the future, they literally pay for themselves after 3 grows in saved power bills vs old school lights.
