In the diary with Afgooey, I had a light intensity of 120,000 lux (after turning on the third 50W matrix with 3500K), check out week 18 - that's the result of high light intensity! Now, for almost 4 weeks, Candy has been under light intensity of 81,000-91,000 lux!!!! Clones and seedlings: 5,000–7,000 lux Vegetative growth: 15,000–50,000 lux Flowering: 45,000–65,000 lux Maximum recommended amount of light: 75,000 lux What about even more light? At some point, increasing the light beyond a threshold plant can manage will actually diminish returns. Said differently, once you reach about 85,000 lux, it’s simply too much. Some strains may already show signs of light stress at only 75,000 lux, with the risk of light bleaching increasing at over 80,000 lux. To keep it safe, it is best to stay at or below 75,000 lux. When the lamp is on, you can check with your hand if you feel heat coming from the lamp above the plant?! 👆 2. Check the lighting at the tips of the growth and on the sides of the plant! You can measure the lighting (lux) in the cultivation area above the plant! Install a free app called "luxmeter" from the market on your smartphone, wipe your phone's screen well, and clean it from grease and dirt. The light sensor is located on the screen side, which often competes with individual lux meters. Check the lighting above the plant. Adjust the lamp height so it doesn't heat the plant to shock levels, but stays within the lux range. Install the app, and you'll remember me more than once, bro! It will be like a compass for your lighting! Effective lighting ranges, starting from planting the plant: Day 1 (250-500lux) Day 2 (500-1000lux) Day 3 (1000-2000lux) After five pairs of leaves, full vegetation (2000-20000lux) Flowering (20000-100000lux).
