No trichomes during pre-flower

Hello, could you guys help me figure out what's going on? On my last grow cycle the plants were producing trichomes like crazy and now these plants look almost like they don't have any trichomes at all. They were super dry and without food for approximately 1 week.

That probably didn’t help. But it’s likely variety/strain variation here. Some will have caked sugar leaves around this time and some only pack trichs on the actual bud.. don’t stress this early.. In a few weeks you’ll have some sparkly buds I’m sure

They will come. u can try dropping the humidity a bit as that helps ramp up tri production, But time is what she needs more than anything. Some of the least impressive and borderline shitty lookin pre flower and early flower buds ive had, have turned into the most gigantic sparkly resin dripping buds ive ever had. And I almost chopped em down in pre flower as they looked so shit. i was sure they would be garbage. Never ever judge a plant by pre flower. Ever. Like NEVER ever.

They should bounce back give em feed and water. Keep the environment stable and they will reward you. I also find it useful to look up other growers using the same strain and style "soil vs hydro/ liquid vs dry" then seeing where I can maybe introduce some improvements. Good Luck!

Hey buddy, she's only entered the stigma phase not even a wk. You are only coming into pre flower. Most autos/fems flowering period is anywhere from a min of 40-70 days max. Autos usually are done in a window of 40-55 days. When she leaves pre flower, (orange pistils appear), ypull start to see frost gather around the sugar leafs (leafs that come from the bud). It's early days yet, on my hydro I didn't sew frost for 2 wks, well hardly any and on my CBD I seen frost (trichomes), nearly straight away. Good luck pal.

Be patient. They will come. Some varieties take longer to show up. The plant also reacts to environmental influences. But she will produce some. So far they all look very well maintained.
