Mr_SCROGanswered grow question 3 years ago Personally, I don't recommend defoliating autoflowering strains at all. They will get stressed, and they do not have time to recover. This will lead to stunting and yield loss. The maximum that is recommended to do with autoflowers is to remove yellowed dead leaves, if any. And, if you want to give more light to the lower branches - LST. But just be very careful not to accidentally break it. There is simply no time for wound healing and recovery from the resulting stress in autoflowering varieties.
