I had the same problem with my Tangerine Dream... ended up doing two things - first was LSTing any part of it I could in any WAY I could... bought some LST clips that I was able to use on the most pliable of stems - sometimes that meant using them between buds at the very top... I took some netting and cut it into strips which I then used to pull some of the stiffer stems as far as I could (which wasn't very far but even a little helped)... since I use fabric pots, I was able to pin these strips to the pot... Then I took the hanger off my light and literally rested it between two of the metal spanners on top of the tent tying the spanners together so they wouldn't be accidentally knocked apart causing the light to fall! My next step was going to be unzipping the top of the tent and hanging the light from a beam on the ceiling but I never had to go that far since mine, like yours, didn't seem to mind being as close to the light as they were. I DID find that those stems I was able to LST out of the way continued their upward growth, the light was able to penetrate down and the lower buds really responded nicely...
Good luck! Do what you can but if you can't do anything and your plant doesn't seem too terribly stressed, don't YOU stress about it!
