All depends what your goal is with topping. Think thru what you’re trying to achieve. I top around this time. I remove bottom node entirely as it’s weak 9/10 times. Then I’ll top at 5 and keep node 2,3,4. Then I top each again in time and end up with about 12 main colas

what growerofthemonth says is perfectly fine, but in my opinion i would wait until the 5th or 6th node to give the plant some more time to develop its roots and become less fragile before giving it that kind of stress

Bottom leaves yellowish - why? And can I top?On both of my plants (C99 & S.A.D.) the bottom leaves are turning yellowish and I can't figure out why. I'd also like to top them this week (above 3rd node), but I'm hesitant because of the leaves. Any advice on what they may be missing, and whether I should wait with topping?
