I have plants on 18/6 light cycle and the other day they started to flower both are photos, installed the inline fan a week ago and to allow air in I have the tent side compartments open all day and night. While they are in darkness there's others lights on in the houseis this y?

Thankyou everyone for your extremely helpful input. I think what happened was my light wasn't going on the time I had it set for. I think my 2 year old messed with the dial. I'm flipping to flower this week thanks again everybody

It has nothing to do with temps. Light leaks during the dark period will prevent flowering, not encourage it. Cannabis will grow primordia/pre-flowers at the stem/leaf junction once they are old enough, this is known as "sexual differentation" and this can happen at 18/6 but does not mean the plants are actually flowering, they have just reached "puberty". Flowering will only commence after changing the light cycle and your plant should keep growing as usual without flowering even though there are primordia popping up all over and you still have the lights at 18/6. Be careful though, light leaks when she is flowering under 12/12 can cause hermaphrodites, so you will have to address this before you go to 12/12. If they do indeed flower at 18/6, then you do have autos and not photoperiod plants. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Was it flowering or did they reach maturity. Which is around 8 weeks?

The best thing to do it is do nothing. Just keep doing what you re doing 🙂 Dont stress. I don't think they are flowering. Just showing signs of sex. And if fir some strange reason, they are autos. Then also just keep the same light cycle. Ammend nutrients... So just chill out. Do nothing for now. Enjoy growing! PeACe G

It is also possible that they are just showing sex. If you are just seeing a pair of stigmas at the nodes, that’s normal as sexual maturity approaches. BUT if you’ve got clusters of stigmas started like it’s actually flowering than what in previously said stands

They were most likely mixed up at the seed bank. Where did you get them? I’ve seen this many of times from certain seed banks. It’s also possible ( but MUCH less likely) you just have a mutation like ruderalis.. again, highly unlikely tho. More likely a mix up at the bank.

Buen trabajo!👌

Maybe the new fan dropped the temps ? That could signal flower time for the girls . It’s also pretty important to stop any light leaking in during night cycle
