If my pH run off is 7.2, do I lower the pH when I water to compensate ? I notice the next day pH water has risen to 7.2 so all the water that still soaking in will of risen too. This is confusing & is there anything other than biobuzz ph down that will remain the same ?

Sounds to me like the same issue I'm dealing with currently. After I adjust my tap water ph it goes back up over time just like u. Mite be super high Alkalinity in ur tap water. Basically the water has some minerals that keeps it at around 9 for me no matter what I do. so the solution I'm told is RO system and then adding back 10-15% of tap water and that keep it stable at around 6.8. Get a home water test and test your water to figure out what your problem is. "Water alkalinity and pH are not the same. Water pH measures the amount of hydrogen (acid ions) in the water, whereas water alkalinity is a measure of the carbonate and bicarbonate levels in water. Think of carbonates and bicarbonates as dissolved limestone." Natural pH buffers would be something like peat moss in your soil I haven't tried this yet in growing but I know it works in aquariums to stabilize and lower pH. I'm basically on a hunt to figure out what to do myself keep in touch.

You need to be pH-ing everything you give your plants... the plain water pH'd to 6.2 (ideal) and the nute solution also pH'd to 6.2... When you water, water enough so you've got at least 10-20% runoff and test the pH of that runoff... water it until that runoff is between 6.0 and 6.5 - this will help you understand what's going on vis-a-vis the pH inside the soil AND it will help clear away and built up salts or excess nutes in the soil and help prevent a lockout from occuring... General Hydroponics PH-Down is the best on the market for tackling the problem.... Good luck!

Flush through with just plain correct ph'd water a couple of times then go back to making up your nutrients and ph to correct level whatever ph down you use ph levels can still fluctuate Good luck with the rest of your grow 💚🙏💚
