Does anyone have recommendations for carbon air scrubber? I just bought a new one and it's not helping at all.
Are the fancy AC infinity ones really worth the extra money? IF YES, WHY?
IF NO, WHAT WOULD RECCOMEND?
I can smell my basement grow from my driveway..please help ☮️

I had a vivosun for a about18 months and it was ok. I've been using the AC infinity scrubbers for a while with their exhaust fans and I don't love the carbon filters.
I still get whiffs of funk outside. I think when the fan is on a very high speed it pulls faster than it can scrub. I also vent directly outside.
If I was really worried about the smell I would spend a lot of money on the Phresh filters. You can't put a price on security and not getting caught.

Thanks oozlefinch.. I turned down my fan after reading your comment... it's totally drawing way more air than it should

I ran out of space to keep texting in my original question...
I have a 6 inch spider farmer exhaust and a 4 inch intake.. they are both properly set up and venting/drawing air in a completely different part of my house
I have pictures of my set up in weeks 4-5 in all my active grow diaries... sorry I didn't add them to my question.
The issue is that I just bought a cheap canister because i had my old one for a while, and it just doesn't take the smell away.. All I can smell coming out the other end is skunk (I won't mention the brand, but it's the generic brand that Amazon reccomends when buying a new inline fan)

ac infinity work well. I would also make sure your exhaust fan and connected duct work are air tight. Is your exhaust fan the right size for the tent you are using? If the tent is more than 3x3 you will need a 6 inch exhaust, 3x3 and under will be fine with a 4 inch. One final thing......you can run two carbon filters, one on the intake, and one on the exhaust, this allows for double the filtration. Hope this helps, happy growing.

Smelly Autopot Reservoir. Normal? Advanced Nutes. Water pump stirs every 15 minutes for 4 minutes. Hole in cover blockedLooking for experience with the Autopot system. This is the first time I have used it. 12gal reservoir. I change out the res weekly but by the end of the week it has a foul smell to it. Cleaned each time with half bottle of 3% Peroxide.
