I've got the mars hydro tsw 2000 300w. Chart says to keep light 12 inches from plant during flowering. Do you all like to actually keep it that close or do you prefer to go further away?

Okay yeah I'm sitting 12 inches above the top and I'm definitely not showing any signs of light burning. Just thought ide ask

That is about right, 12-14 inches for the top of your highest tops. That is with a fan as well, blowing gently across your plant.
Any closer and you risk burning š„ or foxtailing, which is stressful on the plant.
Any further away and you will have no light penetration beyond the tip tops.
